Margaret Henderson-Lee became a registered nurse in 1995, where she began her career in Trauma Intensive Care at The Regional Medical Center at Memphis. She was one of two students selected to represent Tennessee in her nursing externship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Her nursing background has ranged from shock/trauma to staff development education. She completed her graduate studies at the University of Tennessee – Memphis, obtaining a Master’s degree in Nursing, with a Family Nurse Practitioner specialty. Margaret owns and operates Internal Health and Medical Services, located in Germantown, Tennessee. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. She obtained national board certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her primary focus as an advanced practice nurse has beenprimary care, hormone replacement therapy and health promotion and prevention . She is a member ofthe Germantown Chamber of Commerce, as well as served on numerous committees and boards, locally and state wide, in helping to shape healthcare of the future. Margaret is married and has two beautiful sons. She and her family enjoy traveling and watching the NASA and science channels together, learning about the marvels of the human race and the universe.
