As founder and medical director of Willowbend Health & Wellness, a functional & integrative medical practice in Plano, Texas, she now provides integrative health services to men, women, and adolescents, utilizing functional medical principles to uncover root causes of disease and offering alternatives to conventional treatment options. This is accomplished by utilizing comprehensive diagnostic and lab testing along with a thorough history and timeline with a focus on the patient’s whole health.
The philosophy of care at Willowbend Health & Wellness stresses prevention and patient education while combining herbal and botanical therapies and when necessary conventional medical care with functional medicine and other integrative modalities to facilitate the healing process. This philosophy is rooted in a comprehensive approach that combines both physical, mental-emotional and lifestyle medicine. Well balanced hormones play a key role in this process. As such, Dr. Gee strives to teach patients that the fastest way to recovering their natural health and vitality is to return to a way of eating and living that more closely matches their genes and biology, while recognizing that “genes don’t determine who you are but who you have the potential to become”.
Dr. Gee has been actively involved in several hospital, civic and community organizations. She is married with one daughter and spends her free time volunteering and traveling.
