Tiffany Potter FNP-C
Tiffany Potter, RN BSN MSN FNP-C, grew up and graduated high school in Pampa, Texas. Tiffany completed her RN nursing degree from Amarillo College in 1995. After spending two years as a med-surg and surgical nurse, Tiffany accepted a position with Hospice of the Panhandle/BSA Hospice where she spent 13 years caring for terminally ill patients. She gained invaluable life and professional experience during this time of her career, remembering fondly the many patients and families whom she was honored to provide care. Tiffany felt that end-of-life care would always be a strong pull for her professionally, however, she knew that expanding her education and obtaining a position to more extensively serve a patient population was a change she desired.
In 2010, Tiffany graduated with her BSN, followed by her MSN in 2012, both from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas. After receiving her Family Nurse Practitioner certification, Tiffany began her FNP career at Amarillo Medical Group where she provided care to patients in acute medical rehab and long-term care facilities. In 2013, Tiffany was invited to tour the rural health clinic in Moore County, Texas where she realized the need for service to underserved populations in the rural areas. During her practice in Moore County, Tiffany provided care to the underserved, indigent and immigrant populations, further developing experience with the complexity of care in the rural areas of Texas. Tiffany joined the staff at Hemphill County Hospital District (HCHD) in Canadian, Texas in July of 2014 to provide services in the primary care clinic. During her tenure at HCHD, Tiffany has been privileged to work alongside Dr. G.A. Cook and Dr. C. Culwell, gaining valuable experience and being encouraged to expand her knowledge base to include hormone therapies. Tiffany trained with Dr. Briant Herzog, who is currently the medical director for Hormone Therapy Centers of America (HTCA) in Plano, Texas. Under Dr. Herzog’s guidance, Tiffany is now a provider for HTCA pellet therapy.
Tiffany has been blessed with two daughters. Tryniti is 28 and works in the Canadian community; Tandi is 15 and a sophomore at Miami High School, Miami, Texas. Tiffany and her daughters attend Trinity Fellowship Church in Amarillo, Texas.
