Dr. Rupa Goolsby
Dr. Goolsby graduated from the University of North Carolina and the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1994. Following her residency, she practiced for three years at The Kirklin Clinic at UAB. She also did clinical research and co-authored numerous articles related to genetics during that time. In 1997, Dr. Goolsby joined OB/GYN Associates of Alabama.
Dr. Goolsby is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the Alabama Association of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as the Jefferson County Medical Society. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Goolsby enjoys gardening, reading and cooking. She and her husband have two daughters and a son, and are both members of South Highlands Presbyterian Church.
