Dr. John Foster

Dr. Foster graduated from the University of the South (Sewanee) and the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alabama Medical Center in 1984.

Dr. Foster is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition, he holds membership in the Greater Birmingham OB-GYN Society, the Jefferson County Medical Society, and the Medical Association of the State of Alabama.

A native of Mobile, Dr. Foster is married to a Birmingham native with whom he has two daughters. In his spare time he enjoys golf, family activities and gardening. Both he and his wife are members of St. Mary’s on the Highlands Episcopal Church.
