Dr. Schinnerer graduated from Southern Nazarene University with a degree in biology and chemistry and went to medical school at the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2016. Upon finishing residency, she moved to Birmingham and joined OB/GYN Associates of Alabama; she is very excited to be here! Dr. Schinnerer is a member of the American Medical Association, and is board-eligible for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Schinnerer is married, her husband Eric is a surgeon at UAB and plans to do trauma and emergency general surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking and spending time outdoors with their dogs.
